Weight Loss Surgery
Elective surgery at Epworth is opening up and we have engaged a number of extra operating sessions to deal with the substantial waiting list. In all cases we endeavour to minimise waiting times where possible within the boundaries of session availability. Elective surgical patients currently can expect to be screened for COVID-19 prior to presenting for surgery. Telehealth appointments will continue to be offered for consultations as an option even when social distancing requirements have reduced.
