Mr Clough has been providing bariatric consulting services in Bendigo since 2012 and has operated on over 500 patients from this region.  

The service includes:

  • Face to face consulting at St John of God Consulting Suites, Bendigo
  • Specialist dietician review by Telehealth
  • Surgery performed at the Epworth Eastern Hospital in Melbourne.  
  • Free accommodation adjacent to the hospital can be arranged the night prior to surgery if required. 
  • All pre and post surgery follow up locally

Profile Highlights

Mr Clough is the senior surgeon at the Box Hill Hospital bariatric surgery unit and has been practicing through the Epworth for 16 years as a specialist bariatric surgeon.   Prior to this he undertook two years of specialized training in bariatric and related surgery in Sydney, Queensland and observation in the USA.  

Mr Clough was the first surgeon in Victoria to perform SADI surgery and has experience in over 200 cases performed.  

Mr Clough and colleagues performed the first robotic bypass procedures in Melbourne and have recently published results from over 100 robotic cases performed.
